OPERATION CHILDREN WITHOUT PAIN
For 7 years, OGC Nice and the service clubs in Nice, the Lions and Rotary Clubs of the Alpes Maritimes, have decided to join forces to raise funds to support structures caring for hospitalized children or those suffering from debilitating illnesses.
Since 2005, these operations have helped raise a total of €200,000. This amount has helped alleviate the suffering of children through the purchase of medical equipment, such as wheelchairs, medical beds, and morphine pumps, allowing children to smile again with their families.
In 7 years, ‘Children Without Pain’ has helped support projects from the following Associations: Lutins et Lucioles, Institut d’Education Motrice Rossetti, Institut Médico-Educatif Les Chênes, Institut Médico-Educatif Les Terrasses, Handy Art Noble Déco, Enfants et Santé, Hello Baptiste, SOS Nolwenn contre la Différence, the Centre EBH; and assisted the Neonatology, Intensive Care, and Pediatric Services of the L’Archet and Lenval Hospitals.
The €10,000 collected during the Nice-Lorient match last season will be distributed to the projects of the associations Bienvenue à Nos Enfants, Caravelle, and Les Amis d’Adrien, as well as to the Paroisse Notre Dame de la Sagesse in Valbonne.
This award ceremony will be held on Tuesday, March 13 at 6:30 PM at the headquarters of OGC Nice.
