“Action! On Stage” is the theatrical adaptation of the artistic project “Action!” which invited young people to highlight their everyday hero in a one-minute-thirty video. Yesterday, three young people from Nice took the stage at the TNN, accompanied by their “mentor” to be put in the spotlight. A touching performance, followed by a lovely surprise at the end.
On Saturday, November 6, at the Pierre Brasseur room of the National Theater of Nice, we were able to meet Nicolas, 15, and his heroine, his sister Marion, then Carine, a very moving young woman, along with Laurent, her educator and mentor. Finally, Victor, 11, had chosen his “auntie” as his heroine, who confessed that, according to her, “when you’re around Victor, you’re around success.”
Hosted by a very caring Laura Tenoudji, these three duos took turns delivering touching testimonies, sometimes punctuated with humor, and with a lot of tenderness. They notably reflected on intergenerational bonds and their importance, as well as the differences between these various generations.
A Very Beautiful Surprise at the End
Once the performance of “Action! On Stage” was over, Laura Tenoudji surprised us with unexpected guests: Charles Bébert, photographer reporter, and his son Stéphane.

The son of the photographer, a friend of the stars, had prepared a virtual tour of the two exhibitions that took place this summer in Nice, “Charles Bébert, Image Hunter” and “From Bébel to Bébert.”

Besides rediscovering many of his photographs, Charles Bébert shared a heap of anecdotes hidden behind them. From the wedding of Mick and Bianca Jagger, to the creation of the Miss Topless then Miss Winter pageants, as well as all the secrets behind the photography of a football goal.

This testimony, as precious as it is funny — since Charles Bébert has a unique way of telling things and never fails to make us laugh at each anecdote — was a very beautiful surprise and a great way to conclude this performance of “Action! On Stage.”
