Individual and collective performances, sportsmanship, solidarity… The Region honored athletes who raised the colors of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur high in 2015 with 13 awards.
This was an opportunity for the President of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, Christian ESTROSI, to emphasize: “The Grand Prix of Sport is an opportunity to express how proud I am of our great athletes, who contribute to the radiance of our region through their exploits. I also want to warmly salute and thank the enthusiasts and volunteers who, within clubs and associations, leagues, and committees, bring sport to life in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur”.

Grand Prix of the Regional Council “Male” for the best individual male sports achievement: Florent MANAUDOU – Swimming / Club: Cercle Nageurs Marseille (13)
Grand Prix of the Regional Council “High School” for the best individual or team sports performance achieved in the context of UNSS competitions: Lycée BEAUSSIER of La Seyne-sur-Mer (83) / Gymnastics
Best Hope Award: Rouguy DIALLO – Athletics / Triple Jump / Club: Nice CA Athletics (06) and Vincent AZEVEDO – Pétanque and Provencal game / Club: Case Nice (06)
Best Female Team Award: Volleyball / Le Cannet
Best Male Team Award: Water Polo / Club: CNM
Excellence in Officiating Award: Marie-Pascale BILLIET – Synchronized Swimming / Nautic Club La Crau (13)
Excellence of the Young Referee Award: Camil BENNOUIOUNA – Athletics / Club: AC Salon (13)
