The ninth edition of the Sweet Fragrance of Love Fair will take place in Antibes from February 13th to 15th. After three editions organized at Place Nationale, the Fair returns to its original location at the port of Antibes.
This original and international event brings together the best Italian, French, and foreign producers of bread, pastries, chocolates, sweets, and gift ideas themed around Love with a capital L! The fair is a moment of conviviality and sharing where tradition and creativity mix to highlight craftsmanship and quality productions.
The novelty of the year is undoubtedly the relocation of the event, which returns to the site where it was born: the Pré aux Pêcheurs parking lot, at the port of Antibes.
With the development work on the parking lot completed, this “old” new location will allow the Fair to expand, thanks to a usable area of 3000 square meters and easy accessibility for exhibitors and the public, due to the underground parking lot just underneath.
As every year, the Bread, Love and Chocolate event will feature numerous activities for food lovers and couples: treasure hunts and drawing workshops for the little ones, pastry contests for amateurs, screenings of Italian films, demonstrations, tastings, competitions…
For three days, the talent of master bakers and artisanal products from France and Italy will delight the palates and eyes of thousands of food lovers and couples.
The Chamber of Trades and Crafts of the Alpes-Maritimes will mobilize arts and flavor artisans to offer numerous original gift ideas for Valentine’s Day: costume jewelry, fashion accessories, decorative items, not to mention sweets, treats, and chocolates, to participate in Antibes’ grand celebration of love.
With 20,000 visitors last year, the fair has continued to develop since its creation in 2007.
Genuine demonstrations of expertise will honor the value of good artisanal work, the pursuit of excellence, and the demand for quality that guides artisans in their daily work.
