This is happening not far from us, in a country well known for its freedoms regarding drugs and sex, I am of course referring to Holland, also called the Netherlands.
A political party, which had emerged last May, was supporting a value as strange as it is unhealthy: Pedophilia.
Indeed, the NVD which means “Love of neighbor, freedom and diversity”, advocated sexual freedom from the age of 12. Even Dutch justice could do nothing against this new party creation and henceforth the NVD will be able to run in official elections in the Netherlands. As if that were not absurd enough, one of the members of this party is convicted of assault on a minor.
Certainly, the requirement of obtaining more than 60,000 votes will certainly not allow this peculiar party to gain a seat in parliament, but it seems so incredible that a country and its justice system cannot prevent the spreading of such ideas and behavior that are punished in most of Europe.
Pedophilia is a serious act and this kind of decision could spread like wildfire if European and world governments do not mobilize against these facts that will build the foundation of a political project.
It happened (too) close to home!
