For the 14th consecutive year, the association Art for Life, led by Melcha Coder, is working to provide support in the charitable field for Nice University Hospital (CHU).
A total of €230,000 has been raised by this big-hearted lady.
Each year, prestigious concerts are organized at the Nice Opera, bringing together the full philharmonic orchestra and lyrical artists from international stages.
From 1998 to 2007, these concerts funded the purchase of medical equipment for the pediatric department. Subsequently, Mrs. Coder focused her support on the fight against Alzheimer’s disease and contributed to the construction of the future Claude Pompidou Institute*. This reception is an opportunity to once again highlight her energy and investment in great causes.
The use of donations will also be presented to the assembly. These concern the technical and furniture equipment for the floor dedicated to the Memory Center and the CoBTeK research team in the future Claude Pompidou Institute, as well as funding for a psychologist to support patients and families during visits to the museums in the city of Nice.
Note that the next concert to be held at the Nice Opera will take place on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at 8:00 PM.
