The Occitan Cultural Center País Nissart e Alpenc has just published the Calendari nissart 2013, the 9th edition, which will be presented this Wednesday, December 19th at 7 p.m. at CCÒc País Nissart e Alpenc, 22 Beaumont Street, in Nice.

It highlights the hero Garibaldi, the Nice architectural heritage, the Niçois cuisine, the cougourdons of Albert Laura, and the independent and official Carnivals.
The cover honors the record holders (Joan Picciuelli and Romieu Martin) since 2007 of the world record for throwing the Palhasso the farthest.
The entire Calendar is written in Nissart (òc), with dates, festivities, and accompanied by comments.
Printed in 100 copies (1st edition), this calendar (A3 format, 12 pages) will be sold from December 19th for 15 Euros each at La Source, 5 Bonaparte Street, Papéterie Loisirs, 17 Lépante Street, Librairie Niçoise, 2 Défly Street, and Lou Carretoun, 18 Jean Jaurès Boulevard.
The radio www.nissapantai.com will record this event during which the CCÒc País Nissart e Alpenc will present its brand new logo! With a red eagle, a black bat, and in the middle the Occitan cross and the Félibrige star, the new logo reconciles Occitanist spirit and Niçois culture.
