“This committee aims to be a force of contributions in the local public debate. It will meet regularly to formulate contributions on current issues and will highlight on the ground the concrete benefits of the policy conducted by the President of the Republic,” states Claire Peradotto.
According to the promoters, it will be open to all local elected officials—regardless of political sensitivity—and to personalities from civil society engaged at the local level.
