Public transportation in Nice: what changes this Thursday, May 8

Latest News

Due to the public holiday, several Lignes d’Azur bus routes are suspended, while trams and trains are running normally.

This Thursday, May 8th, on the occasion of the commemoration of the end of World War II, the Lignes d’Azur network is adjusting its operations. Several bus routes will not operate, while the rest of the network will follow the usual Sunday and public holiday schedule.

Among the lines suspended for the day are lines 31, 34, 36, 37, 40, 41, 42, 43, 47, 49, 52, 58, 67, 68, 69, 85, 86, 89, and 93, as well as lines CADAM Nord, CADAM Est, EXP2, EXP3, EXP4. The Cœur de Vence 1, 2, and 3 shuttles will also not be in service.

For all other lines, service is maintained but operates according to the Sunday schedule. This means a reduction in frequency across much of the network. Users are therefore advised to plan their journeys accordingly and check the schedules online or on the Lignes d’Azur app.

Regarding trams, no disruptions are reported. Lines are running normally, with a passage every 8 to 9 minutes, just like on Sundays.

Finally, travelers planning to travel by train can be reassured: the TGV and TER will run normally this Thursday. The national strike announced in the railway sector will not begin until the following day, Friday, May 9th.
