The seventeenth edition of the QS World University Rankings, the most consulted university ranking in the world, was published this Wednesday by the analysts at QS Quacquarelli Symonds.
The University of Nice Côte d’Azur is ranked between 601-650.
The global ranking is dominated by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, ranked first for the ninth consecutive year. The top three universities remain American: Stanford University (second) and Harvard (third). The top university in the United Kingdom and Europe is Oxford, which is fifth, placing fourth the California Institute of Technology.
Its compatriot, Cambridge, holds the seventh position as it did last year. The sixth position is held by ETH Zurich. The two best Asian universities are from Singapore: the National University of Singapore (eleventh) and Nanyang Technological University (thirteenth).
