This exhibition is made available to the library by Lieutenant Colonel Yvan Morel (grandson of Tom Morel) and by the Federation of Mountain Soldiers.
Théodose Morel was born on August 1, 1915, in Lyon into a family of Lyon silk manufacturers.
Théodose Morel was admitted to the Special Military School of Saint-Cyr in the summer of 1935. In early December 1943, he went underground to fight with the Resistance.
On March 10, 1944, Tom Morel was killed during an operation in Entremont, at the age of 28, having given his life to defend France and its values.
