Author of about fifteen works, Ludovic Degroote, born in 1958, traverses formal spaces as well as inner geographies: aiming to blur the boundary between verse and prose, his books explore the place of intimacy through personal experiences (A Little Rape or Monologue, published by Champ Vallon, Thoughts of the Dead by Tarabuste), geographical locations (The Dike, Blue Boat, Zambezi by Unes Editions), and proximity to art (Eugène Leroy, Black Self-Portrait by Invenit Editions, José Tomás by Unes Editions).

Works that are also a reflection on how literature can shape these subjects. A double recipient of the Prix des Découvreurs (2005, 2013), he has collaborated on numerous artist books and regularly publishes poetry columns.
