Second weekend of Marion Le Pen’s incursion into her rival’s territory: once again, it was towns outside Nice that were visited with direct contact with the population and supporters.
It was the towns of Saint-Jeannet, Saint-André la Roche, and Beausoleil that saw the young candidate of the Plein Sud list (the logo explaining the strategy of casting a wide net beyond her grandfather’s “green berets”) strolling through the streets and alleys, interacting with the residents.
Sponsored by her right-hand men, territory experts Olivier Bettati and Philippe Vardon, Marion Le Pen is making her mark in the periphery of Christian Estrosi’s stronghold.
Will there be an entry into the so-called “hard” game with propaganda demonstrations in Nice and other cities where the mayor of Nice and his allies hold power?
Meanwhile, an initial version of the electoral program has been made public. Its banality probably makes a second, more targeted version of more appropriate quality desirable.
Smiles are good, but to govern a region this important, something more is needed.
