Ghizléne, a 19-year-old young woman from Nice who dared to take up the challenge of the TV show “Belle toute nue,” has learned to accept herself despite the image of slender or even skinny models splashed across the front pages of the media and in advertisements.
In the past, feminine curves symbolized fertility and femininity par excellence; today, it is synonymous with “letting go”!!
This is also why Ghizléne fights to achieve her dream despite the dictates of thinness. The vibrant woman from Nice is determined to do whatever it takes and show that a woman can be curvy and beautiful by fully embracing herself.
Thus, she has decided to enter the “Miss Curvy PACA” competition, which will take place this Saturday, July 21, 2012, in Hyères at the Espace de la Vilette (very close to the espace 3000). A decision that, we hope, will bring her the best and maybe, even if just a bit, change others’ perceptions towards those who are “supposedly” different!
