In this first leg of the round of 16, Stade Niçois won at Châteaurenard by the narrowest of margins, 19-18.
There was not much play, with a closely contested match throughout, featuring only one try from the Nice side and 4 penalties against 5 penalties and a drop goal for Châteaurenard.
This slight advantage will need to be confirmed next Sunday at 3 PM at the Arboras to celebrate the promotion to Fédérale 1.
