From July 20th to 28th, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat welcomes professional press illustrators, humorists, and caricaturists with their sharp pencils to capture current events with a fierce and biting appetite, but always with humor.
The theater by the sea, the Neptune space, and the Media Library on the marina will serve as the setting for these friendly jousts with the Festival President and Guest of Honor PIEM and his fellow illustrators:
According to their mood, they will pin their subjects, letting their pencils dance without ever harming them.
At a time when images have become a true social phenomenon, Political or Humor Drawings have acquired their own Nobility and deserve the Olympic Games of Pencils.
Numerous activities are on the program: happenings, live shows, and debates. Various exhibitions. Body painting. Miss Humor election. “Talents to Discover” contest.
