Program:

From 6 PM: Performance by “Nice la Belle” throughout the Carras neighborhood.

From 6:30 PM, and throughout the evening: Performances by schools from Nice-Ouest, the Branch d’Or Nice Côte d’Azur choir, magician Xavier Chatel, the groups “Nice la Belle” and “Li Rauba Capeu.”

Face painting activities for children – Food available on site.

Around 7:30 PM: Award ceremony for the best performance by the schools of Nice-Ouest and the best children’s fantasy face painting.

Around 9:45 PM: Lighting of the Saint-Jean bonfire.

This celebration, symbolizing the summer solstice, was traditionally organized to encourage marriage.
Young girls would rush to dance around the Saint-Jean bonfires. According to legend, if they visited nine, they would be married within the year.
