The program:
Wednesday, October 24 at 6 PM – Théâtre Georges Brassens
Inaugural evening, meeting with the storytellers: Cie Alcantara (Emilie Atlan, Isabelle Bondiau-Moinet, and Sophie Sergio), Agnès Dumouchel, Claude Franceschi, Eric Frèrejacques, Momar Gaye, Philippe Haudricourt, Nourhène Kelly, and musician David Faure-Brac, Annie Laligant, Aly M’Baye, Ludmila Perzinski, Isabelle Pozzi, and David Razon.
Thursday, October 25 and Friday, October 26 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM – in the 19 schools and 2 colleges
School Interventions: A special moment for children attending school in Saint-Laurent-du-Var. Each class will welcome a book artist and explore the mysteries of creation through writing and illustration workshops centered around a piece of work or a tale, and interviews prepared with teachers.

Day of meetings, book signings with invited artists, and all-day animation Comic creation workshops on flipchart “And hop… let’s sketch” with the Méditerranice Comic School.
10:30 AM: Award ceremony for children who participated in writing workshops during the 2011-2012 school year
11:30 AM: Celebration cocktail for the 17th Festival of Words and Books, presided by Henri Revel, Mayor of Saint-Laurent-du-Var, and Michèle Voisin, Deputy for Cultural Affairs. This cocktail will be animated by the students of the theater class of the Municipal Conservatory under the direction of Annie Ambroise.
from 2 PM to 4:30 PM Game animations “Stroll through the land of books”
Literary game for children aged 3 to 10, created by the Documentation Center Libraries animators. Drawing of 10 winners at 5 PM. The winners will choose a book from those of the invited artists.
4 PM “My Encounter with the Universe”
Award ceremony for the winners of the writing contest in correspondence style.
6 PM – Théâtre Georges Brassens: “My Little Mermaid”
