On July 10th, from 4:30 PM to 9 PM at the Esplanade des Goรฉlands, Saint-Laurent-du-Var and its tourist office will offer an afternoon of welcome for holidaymakers with the theme of the African continent. A festive moment to enjoy with the family!
July visitors will be able to take advantage of the welcoming atmosphere and free activities.
On the stage, children will participate in games hosted by Patrick Lemont with an African theme, with prizes to win.
Meanwhile, parents will have their hands full with a quiz on the same theme.
The public will also be able to applaud artists who will present a show of traditional African dance and music, featuring instruments such as the Kora and the Balafon.
Demonstrations and introductions to Ndombolo and Coupรฉ Dรฉcalรฉ will also be part of the program.
An African mask-making workshop will be organized for children.
Let’s not forget the participation of the Centre de Dรฉcouverte du Monde Marin, which will raise awareness about the protection of the Mediterranean Sea.
The Aquarium Naturel des Flots Bleus will introduce the public to marine fauna and flora.
There will also be awareness activities about the harmful effects of the sun and mosquito control on the esplanade, provided by the Health Info Bus of the General Council.
Finally, the team from the tourist office will offer beach ashtrays to help maintain the cleanliness of the coastline.
