Born in 2016 from a joint initiative by the Department and the Chamber of Agriculture of the Alpes-Maritimes to promote short supply chains for seasonal products, the “06 à table” procurement platform, located at the MIN, enables the aggregation and structuring of local producers’ offerings. It also connects with public catering managers, particularly in the school kitchens of the Côte d’Azur colleges.
Speaking of cuisine… With the planned closure of the Maurice Jaubert central kitchen, it was necessary to restructure the kitchen at Ségurane college to allow it to evolve into a production unit. The operation involved creating spaces adapted to the new mode of operation and equipping the kitchen with the necessary materials.
This Monday, this new facility will be inaugurated by the departmental and Nice academy authorities.
