On Friday, March 29, 2024, the President of SICTIAM and the Departmental Director of Public Finances signed the partnership agreement to move toward the digital transition.
The SICTIAM plays a crucial role in local proximity by supporting its members daily in the digital transition and in the evolution of their professions. The DDFIP ensures the accounting management of local authorities and public establishments. It provides advice and technical support. These two entities have thus agreed on a partnership to combine their strengths.
Why this partnership?
This partnership allows the two entities to combine their expertise. The accounting regulations and the progress of digital transformation in public entities are constantly evolving. The DDFIP and SICTIAM have decided to join forces to face these changes.
Three objectives have been highlighted:
- Strengthen the dissemination and understanding of evolving accounting rules among end users.
- Address current challenges: objectives of improving accounting quality and cybersecurity.
- Establish recommendations on the use of IT tools in compliance with current legislation.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for all this.
