A few days ago, a Showdown competition took place for the second time in Nice. Twelve teams from all over France competed in the National Triplette Showdown Tournament, organized by ANICES.
Indeed, the Nice 1 team shone during this intense weekend, finishing in second place behind Montpellier. A reward for Nice’s Showdown, which is full of hope and goodwill.
Promising Results
Though Montpellier claimed victory in this championship, the Nice teams did not disappoint. This is the case for Nice 1, composed of Laurie-Anne, Jérémy, and Yohann, who, after firmly establishing their place in division one, brilliantly made it to the finals. ANICES is also proud of its other two teams, Nice 2 and 3, who also gave their all and surpassed their limits with remarkable victories. With Margaux, Bernard, and Arnaud in the Nice 2 team, and Anne, Mirlind, and Xavier-Aurèle in the Nice 3 team, they achieved 4th and 5th place, respectively.
Ready for a Third Edition
This second edition was a success, thanks to the organization and cooperation of each volunteer. A viable and comfortable competition, especially thanks to the Holiday Inn Nice Centre hotel, which hosted the event. A performance that charmed the city, which is proud of the Nice parasports. The association aims to “make sports accessible to everyone,” regardless of individual differences. It is led with heart and passion by a dedicated president, Sébastien Filippini.
A 3rd edition could therefore take place in 2026, which would attract even more spectators.
