The request from the Socialist Federation of Alpes-Maritimes for the provision of rooms to organize primaries led to an exchange as childish as it was useless between the majority and its Nice opposition.
The attack of Patrick Allemandโฆ
The PS 06 confronted with efforts to block, notably in Nice.
While overall in the Alpes-Maritimes, the Socialist Party noted a republican attitude from mayors of all sides in response to requests for room allocation for organizing the primaries, some mayors stood out by a more or less concealed intention to block.
The attitude of Christian ESTROSI, who despite his favorable statements towards primaries, demands exorbitant sums for the provision of rooms in Nice, is the most problematic, even though it is not the only one.
The counter from Christian Estrosiโฆ
The Socialist Party Federation 06 requested the provision of 42 rooms, including 38 public schools, for organizing their primaries in view of designating the PS candidate for the presidential elections.
The Mayor of Nice, Christian Estrosi, confirmed his agreement to them and asked the municipal administration to contact the Federation to communicate the cost of using these facilities, so that their availability would have no impact on taxpayers’ money.
