In preparation for the upcoming school year, the associations in the Côte d’Azur region are organizing a collection followed by a solidarity distribution of school supplies for underprivileged children.
As in previous years, not all families have the means to provide a complete list of supplies for their school-aged children. The most disadvantaged parents, most of whom are asylum seekers or undocumented, do not receive the back-to-school allowance. Thus, various regional associations act as an alternative by organizing collections of school supplies to distribute them for free afterward.
No time to waste
Thanks to the efforts of ADN, Cent Pour Un 06, Habitat et citoyenneté, Roya citoyenne, Tous citoyens, the Réseau Education Sans Frontière 06, La France Insoumise 06, and EELV Nice, there is still hope!
Volunteers are invited to bring new or good-condition supplies or to make an online donation that will allow for the purchase of materials to be distributed to the children: https://www.helloasso.com/associations/tous-citoyens/collectes/distribution-de-fournitures-scolaires-aux-enfants-demunis
