Success for the sports caravan in Pégomas

Latest News

The sports caravan stopped yesterday in Pégomas. On this occasion, Walter Benitez and Gautier Lloris set out to meet the youngest fans.

For an hour, the two Aiglons shared a moment of conviviality with the many children who had come out for the event.

The meeting also delighted the two professional players.

“It was wonderful to be able to share this moment with the children. For them, it’s great to meet players from OGC Nice,” said Walter Benitez. “For us players, it’s always nice to be able to go out on the field with the young ones and share a good moment with them.”

“The Sports Caravan is great for the little ones,” exclaimed Gautier Lloris. “Even though it’s good for them to play soccer, it’s nice that it opens the doors to various sports, introducing new ones like ‘disc golf’ (a mix of frisbee and golf). At least, kids have the choice and can do what they love without it being a parental obligation.”

The Nice defender also shared a funny anecdote: “As a kid, I would’ve loved to meet players from OGC Nice, we’ve all been through that. When you’re a child, you love to see professional players come by, it makes you smile, it creates memories, and I would’ve stuck the poster in my room at the end (laughs).”
