Among the shows not to be missed, first there’s the final performance of Tangoforte on August 1st in Beausoleil. This group consists of four artists from the jazz, classical, and operatic music scene: Frรฉdรฉric Viale (bandoneon player), Eros Cordogli (pianist), ร‰ric Fassio (double bassist), and Gilles San Juan (tenor). A tango choreography is performed by Argentine dancer Mayra Morelli and her partner George Bonopera. Both transport us into their world, sharing their common passion for tango and the way this dance is practiced. The dance varies depending on the circumstances: from the tango of the slums of Buenos Aires to that of the famous singer Carlos Gardel. All of this to music that restores the most harmonious and traditional form… of tango.
