Nearly 6,000 children will be welcomed in recreational centers this summer.
Every child will find an activity to their liking among the numerous events offered by the city of Nice and its associative partners.
“How to occupy children’s days this summer?” A question that often concerns parents as summer vacations approach. The city of Nice is committed to stimulating children’s curiosity, allowing them to relax and flourish, and promoting “living well together” through group activities.
In the 56 municipal and associative reception structures set up for these little ones, aged 3 to 12, they can participate in a variety of cultural, manual, sporting, and even culinary activities.
From May 15 to June 9, parents have the opportunity to enroll their children, including those with disabilities, in these centers, an initiative that proves to be a first.
Approximately 315 facilitators will be at the service of these children, including 62 life assistants specifically recruited for the care of enrolled disabled children.
It’s a commitment by the city of Nice to stand by families this summer and give children the joy to flourish regardless of their origin or neighborhood of residence.
“I commit to ensuring that every child in Nice has a place in a recreational center this summer,” stated Lauriano AZINHEIRINHA, Deputy Mayor of Nice.
