Sustainable Development: The Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Awarded the RSE 06 Trophy

Latest News

The RSE PACA trophies reward companies for their proactive and voluntary efforts to integrate sustainable development on social, environmental, and societal levels. This unique concept brings together employee unions (CFDT, CFTC, FO, CFE-CGC) and employer organizations (UP, CGPME, Medef) within the same jury to identify these companies.

The Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Nice Côte d’Azur) stood out for its internal and external actions in terms of RSE.

Additionally, it is the first time a public company has received this award, which led Claude Tardy, General Director of CCI Nice Côte d’Azur, to say, “Our ambition is to be a reference actor for Sustainable Development on the Côte d’Azur. Our role is to support companies in all opportunities for business development and innovation.”

The Jury particularly appreciated the overall commitment and originality of actions such as:

– A day of mobilization of many CCI employees in favor of hospitalized children at the Lenval Foundation with a show and creative workshops…
– A reforestation operation on the Lérins Islands,
– The rehabilitation of the old forges in Villefranche-sur-Mer for heritage preservation,
– The installation of the largest photovoltaic power plant in Alpes-Maritimes on 20,000m2 of the roof on the CCI buildings in the heart of the Eco-Vallée.

This transversal Sustainable Development approach impacts all activities: business support, territorial proposals, management of ports and centers, training, and support services.
