Tales, a summer celebration presents its zouk party tonight

“Once upon a time” there was a very dynamic events committee. Twelve years ago in its village at the Verdure theater, it opened its first book of festivities which it named the **Païoun Ven Festival**.

Since then, each year, it turns its pages that illuminate the summers of the locals and the “foreigners,” as they say here.

This year, it will be its twelfth Païoun Ven Festival that it invites you to discover together. Under the presidency of Gérard De Zordo, this event promises to be very eclectic.

The first paragraph of this chapter was revealed **Thursday, July 2**. That evening, the public entered as if by magic into a wonderful world after making a little detour through the Andes with Apurimac.

Yes, with Philippe Chatel’s musical comedy staged by Vincent Fuch with choreography by Gisèle Conil, spectators let themselves glide into the world of innocence, turning the pages of **Emilie Jolie’s** picture book: page of blue rabbits, page of umbrella whales, page of the hedgehog, page of the little pebble, page of the great bird… invitations to childlike colors tinged with modern references that made the audience laugh. Emilie’s objective? To find a charming prince for the witch so she becomes a princess. Is it possible?
“My name is Emilie Jolie, I would like to leave with you, All the way to the sky on your wings
And I would like to live my life with you” – who hasn’t sung this song? And yes, it was sung in chorus.
And you know what? The witch transformed into a princess as soon as she met the charming prince. And yes, you just have to believe in it for it to come true, doesn’t it, Emilie?
