Until November 4th, the exhibition “Our Birds and Africa” is taking place at the Maison de la Nature, raising awareness among visitors about bird migrations, their importance in our ecosystem, and the necessity of preserving their migratory cycle.
This exhibition complements the activities on tracking migratory birds located 100 meters above the Maison de la Nature at the ornithological migration camp of the Grande Corniche Departmental Natural Park in Èze.
Birds, symbols of freedom and wildlife, defy borders and distances. Through migration, they create a bridge between two continents.
Many of the birds we know at home are found in Africa each year, subjected to the dangers of migration and threats to the environment both here and there. Birds are valuable indicators, often at their own expense, of the state of the planet.
The exhibition allows visitors to discover a shared and common natural heritage between Africa and Europe.
