FESTIMAJ is also an international competition with a Public Vote worldwide during the screenings. Each spectator votes at the end of each short film by giving a score from 1 to 5 to select the 6 best in each program.

During the closing on June 28 in Pouzauges, the jury, presided over this year by Saeed Nouri, filmmaker, screenwriter, and writer, will award the 2 prize-winning shorts in each program.

This year, 5 short film programs are being shown: primary schools (1h30), middle schools (1h40), high schools (1h22), young directors (1h45), and English language selection (1h).

73 films were selected from over 250 received, with more than 40 participating countries, an event in partnership with TV5 Monde.

In the Middle Schools program, 2 short films from Nice schools have been selected: Jean Rostand Middle School and Roland Garros Middle School!
