Michaël Llodra, born on May 18, 1980, in Paris. As a doubles player, he won the Australian Open twice (2003, 2004) with his partner Fabrice Santoro, as well as the Wimbledon tournament (2007) with Arnaud Clément.
He is a member of the French Davis Cup team. In singles, he has won three titles during his career, including two tournaments at the beginning of 2008 following his victory in Rosmalen in 2004. He finished the year 2008 ranked 38th in the world. In 2009, he reached the final of the Open 13, where he lost to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, surpassing for the first time the first round in a French tournament outside of Roland-Garros.
He will be in Nice on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, from 2 pm to 5 pm, to play some tennis with over 100 children from the Caucade Leisure Activity Center and the tennis school of the AFLN association.
