The Collective 06 for Women’s Rights is organizing a gathering in Nice, on Avenue Jean Médecin (in front of Notre-Dame), starting at 6:30 PM.
Disguised and in song, we will denounce:
► Sexist stereotypes
that confine women to behaviors of submission and passivity;
that confine men to behaviors of aggression and violence;
that condone violence against women.
► The absence of women from spheres of economic and political power
► The dismantling of public services in health policy, which further precarizes women, makes access to contraception and abortion difficult, and reinforces inequalities.
We demand:
♀ Respect for laws and more resources for their implementation;
♀ Improvement of these laws: effective parity in all areas;
♀ An observatory of Women’s Rights in all territorial bodies;
♀ The return of a Ministry for Women’s Rights.
We affirm our solidarity with women here and elsewhere who are fighting for freedom and emancipation!
