The tenth edition of L’Italie à Table is about to begin! Meet us in Nice, on the Promenade des Anglais, from May 29 to June 1, from 10am to 8pm.


italie_a_table_nice-2.jpg With 1,375 m² of exhibition space and more than 85 exhibitors from 11 Italian regions, 5 trips to Italy to be won, and many events for all audiences, this edition lives up to the event’s reputation.

For Agostino Pesce, Director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Nice: “As the organizer of the fair, we are proud to see our event evolve in step with a Metropolis that is becoming increasingly modern. This 10th edition certainly retains the important characteristics that have ensured its success, especially the quality of products and exhibitors, but it also enjoys many novelties that will undoubtedly excite and delight the public, who have always been faithful attendees for so many years”.

2014 PROGRAM

THURSDAY, MAY 29

10am – 8pm: Fair opens to the public with tasting of typical products at stands showcasing Italian culinary excellence, throughout the day.

11am – 5pm: Children’s workshops at Espace CCItalienne

12:30pm – 1:30pm: On-going animation

3pm – 4pm: Niçoise or Ligurian cuisine; from garum to pissalat, with Alex BENVENUTO from Lou Sourgentin magazine, and a presentation of a selection of his books at Espace Conference

5pm– 6pm: Speed Booking: let’s read together. Come share your favorite Italian book with the Vocabolando Language Training Center at Espace Conference

6pm – 7pm: Italo-Swedish meetings

The Swedish business club meets the Italian business club of the Côte d’Azur at Espace VIP / reserved

8:30pm: Italian territory flavors presented to the French press / Evening reserved for members of the Press Club, at Espace VIP / reserved

FRIDAY, MAY 30

10am – 8pm: Fair opens to the public with tasting of typical products at stands showcasing Italian culinary excellence, throughout the day.

11am – 5pm: Children’s workshops at Espace CCItalienne

10am– 11:30am: The real Niçoise salad and its origins by Jose MARIA, co-author with Giordan de la Peppa, of the book La cuisine Niçoise à la carte, Editions Au Pays Rêvé, Nice 2014, which will also be presented, with a signing session at Espace Conference

11:30am – 12:30pm: Inalpi: Authentic flavors by tradition, introduction by Ambrogio INVERNIZZI, President of Inalpi, followed by a culinary demonstration at Espace Conference

3pm: Official opening of the Fair in the presence of Christian ESTROSI, Deputy Mayor of Nice, Eric CIOTTI, President of the General Council, Ferruccio DARDANELLO, President of Unioncamere, Patrizia DALMASSO, President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce

4:30pm – 5:30pm: “Ospitalità Italiana” label, Certificate award to restaurants meeting 100% Italian quality criteria, in the presence of Ferruccio DARDANELLO, National President of Unioncamere. at Espace VIP – Reserved

5pm: Win a trip to Piedmont!: in collaboration with the Cuneo Outdoor Tourism Committee

Raffle draw of the competition held from May 15 to 28 in certified Italian restaurants in Nice, members of the Italian Chamber of Commerce at Espace Conference

5:30pm – 6:30pm: On-going animation

7pm – 8:30pm: Costazzurra evening: Meet with tourism professionals around the Costazzurra Club at Espace VIP / reserved

During the meeting: Raffle draw for a trip to Piedmont in collaboration with the Cuneo Outdoor Tourism Committee
