The Chamber of Agriculture of the Alpes-Maritimes and the Olive of Nice Syndicate are organizing the 12th departmental olive oil competition for products under the “Nice Olive Oil” and “Nice Olive” designations of origin this Wednesday.
This year, the competition will be hosted at “Goût de Nice, secrets et saveurs du pays,” which opened in July 2017.
The objective is to highlight metropolitan agricultural and artisanal sectors, including the olive oil sector with the designation of origin Nice.
This competition showcases the three products of the two olive oil designations (olive oil, table olives, and olive paste) as well as the expertise and quality work of olive growers and millers.
