Attempted arson at Saint-Roch Church

This morning, a man broke into the Saint-Roch Church in Nice and attempted to set the altar on fire. The church’s bursar intervened and was able to quickly extinguish the initial fire, which caused minimal damage.

The perpetrator fled the scene. A complaint was to be filed this afternoon.

Thanks to the review of surveillance camera footage, he will soon be identified and brought to justice.
