The City of Nice opens 11 museums and galleries to the magic of the night…
On the occasion of the 13th edition of “The European Night of Museums 2017,” the City of Nice is opening its museums and galleries to the public for free and is offering nighttime tours with an original approach on Saturday, May 20, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Traveling concerts in the permanent collection of the Matisse Museum, a discovery of traditional Indian music at the Lascaris Palace, tours of the reserves of the Cimiez Archaeology Museum and Terra Amata, music and poetry from Iran at the Naive Art Museum, creation of an artwork in public at the Masséna Museum, mediation and concert at the Museum of Fine Arts, a fashion show at the Photography Museum, a reconstructed cabinet of curiosities at the Natural History Museum, all in all, 11 venues will open up to the magic of the night!
During the day, free entry during the “The Class, The Work!” event: embark on a journey to discover the artworks in the museums, guided by students.
