Co-organized by the “Art, Culture, and Sponsorship” Commission of UPE 06 and the association Ambre International, a Responsible Cultural Rally combining art, culture, heritage, sustainable development, and unique professional encounters will take place this Friday, September 16, 2011, between 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM, with a closing evening starting at 7:00 PM at SKEMA BUSINESS SCHOOL.
A Responsible Route of Artistic and Cultural Encounters in the Alpes-Maritimes
This route, in the form of an eco-responsible cultural rally, will feature 14 teams of corporate employees, aiming to promote sponsorship, mutually enhance Art and Heritage, and encourage long-term partnerships between the economic and cultural worlds that are unfamiliar with each other.
The goal of P.R.A.C 06 is to create a lasting bridge between the business world and that of Culture and Arts, while promoting corporate sponsorship.
The 14 participating teams consist of employees, clients, and/or partners from the business sector of Alpes-Maritimes. The financial participation of companies is in the form of cultural sponsorship benefiting the selected artists.
The teams will meet the artists, presented by scenography, using ecological and/or responsible vehicles, across 5 sites of local cultural and/or historical heritage.
Throughout the day, artists will present their art on the following sites to share it with the rally teams, who will move from stage to stage, divided into 5 groups of 2 or 3 teams each, following the instructions in the road-book provided at the starting point at the Salle des Fรชtes de Valbonne.
- The MIP gardens in Mouans-Sartoux: Isabelle Fillon, Jean lโHerbon de Lussats, Paul Melki
- The Castellas in Roquefort-les-Pins: Benjamin Bichard, David Peyrieux, Fani Rigobalti, Cie Chauner Gallan
- Notre Dame du Brusc in Chรขteauneuf: Cie Di Britto; Judith Kaantor
- The old village of Carros: AMERET, Association DansโEmoi
- The site of Nice: Luc Boniface, Nadรจge Pages, Vincent Deplano
The MIP gardens in Mouans-Sartoux: A stage entirely dedicated to artists with physical disabilities
Furthermore, all stages will be accessible to people with reduced mobility participating in the rally, thanks to the provision of vehicles by MobilโAzur and Joรซlettes by the French Association of Paralyzed Persons (APF).
Fifteen artists were selected by a jury composed of business leaders, art collectors, and professionals and enthusiasts of Art.
The PRAC 06 will spotlight around fifteen local artists from various backgrounds, styles, and universes.
Thus, companies will discover visual artists, painters, sculptors, dancers, musicians, a performer, and a writer at heritage sites in the Alpes-Maritimes.
This clever mix of experiences with established artists such as Fani Rigobalti or Vincent Deplano, young talents like visual artist Benjamin Bichard from Villa Arson, physically disabled artists including Isabelle Fournier and Jean lโHerbon de Lussats, whimsy with Cie Chauner Gallan, and grace with the dance troupe DansโEmoi allows for a broad overview of what is done in the department in terms of art.
14 companies participating in the event: Nissan Nissโ V.I., Clovis Location, WIT S.A., Intellicore services, La Poste, MobilโAzur, FNAC, Sociรฉtรฉ Gรฉnรฉrale, Veolia, Ad Astra Films, Pix & Associates, BPCA, Nice Cรดte dโAzur Urban Community, Konรฉ.
