The 2019 vaccination schedule is made public. Developed by the ministry in charge of Health, after consultation with the High Authority of Health (HAS), the vaccination schedule brings together all the recommendations applicable to people residing in France according to their age and issues “general” vaccination recommendations as well as “specific” vaccination recommendations tailored to specific situations (increased risk of complications, exposure or transmission) or professional exposures.

After a 2018 marked by the implementation of the vaccination requirements reform for young children, the Ministry of Solidarity and Health has published the updated 2019 vaccination schedule on its website, following consultation with the High Authority of Health.

The 2019 vaccination schedule includes no major changes. It takes into account access to new vaccines, the discontinuation of others, and updates certain vaccination regimens. It considers legislative and regulatory changes that occurred in 2018 or that will occur shortly. It is available online on the health ministry’s website.

The Minister of Solidarity and Health, Agnes Buzyn, reminds us: “Getting vaccinated is to protect oneself against transmissible and serious infectious diseases, but it is also an act of solidarity and citizenship. Protecting oneself also means protecting others.”
