Festive, creative, and exploratory; on Saturday, August 30th from 10 AM to 7 PM in Layet Park, the 2014 Terroir Festival will lead its visitors, young and old, from discovery to discovery. For its 28th anniversary, the event offers a varied program of entertainment from all directions.
As every year, the Terroir Festival will provide a significant platform for more than 40 exhibitors who will present their products and services with skill and professionalism.
Gastronomy, market, mini-farm, dances and music, games, etc.
There will be no shortage of choices when it comes to discoveries and entertainment!
A true fireworks display of conviviality for this 28th anniversary where 4,000 visitors are expected!
Program
For children:
- Treasure hunt for 7-11-year-olds
- Inflatable structures
- Trampolines
- Workshops on repotting and planting vegetables
- Goat milking workshops
- Goat cheese making workshops
- Butter making workshops
- Carriage rides in the aisles of Layet Park
- Carousel for 1-6-year-olds (Layet Park)
- Workshops on carding and spinning wool
For the whole family:
- Large educational farm (cow, Provencal donkey, draft horse, sheep, goats, geese, chickens, and rabbits)
- “Little farm” area (goats, sheep, miniature pig, rabbits, and poultry)
- “Old trades” stand (offered by the little farm)
- Catering offered by the Lions Club of Saint-Laurent-du-Var and relaxation area
- Tourist office information stand
- Inter-association pétanque contest
- Demonstrations and introductions to Occitan and Irish dances
