Here is the program presented by Espace Magnan

For this anniversary, join us on a true “Giro” through the landscapes and history, which will open with “9ร—10 Novanta”, a collective film made for the 90th anniversary of Istituto Luce Cinecittร  by the 10 most talented directors of the younger generation, offering 10 different perspectives to portray, using archival footage, the history of Italy from 1924 to 2014. Then, we’ll head to Turin, the cinema capital, where we will delve into the daily life of a “different” family with the film “Pulce non cโ€™รจ”. Next, we will ascend to greater heights with “La prima neve,” filmed in the Trentino-Alto Adige region, and then descend south with the biopic “Il giovane favoloso” dedicated to the great poet Giacomo Leopardi, who lived in Naples in the 19th century.

After an impromptu stroll through the Apulia region with the docu-fiction by Davide Minnella, who will preside over our closing night with his film “Ci Vorrebbe Un Miracolo”, we will briefly visit Calabria with the beautiful movie “Il sud รจ niente,” followed by Palermo, a city with many facets, where it is said that “La mafia uccide solo dโ€™Estate” (the mafia kills only in summer).
Not forgetting Sardinia with the festival’s outlier, “La Leggenda di Kaspar Hauser,” a poetic no man’s land set against an electro music background.
And to close this beautiful adventure, we return to the heart of Italy with the films “Tutta colpa di Freud,” “Sacro Gra,” and “Smetto quando voglio” because all roads lead to Rome!
