From June 10 to 14, the IMS-Entreprendre pour la Citรฉ network will organize the Mecenova Challenges week for the third consecutive year, a non-profit event designed to mobilize employees in support of solidarity. For a week, companies across France will involve their employees to support associations.
In context: in 2011 and 2012, around thirty companies and nearly 10,000 of their employees mobilized in favor of solidarity: collection campaigns, solidarity sports events, environmental projects, employee/association speed-dating, coaching for people in difficulty, cultural outings with visually impaired individuals…
Building on this success and at the request of participating companies, IMS is renewing the experience in 2013!
The objective: To highlight solidarity initiatives driven across France by employees, creating a collective mobilization of all concerned stakeholders: companies, their employees, and associations.
How to participate? The event aims to gather as many companies as possible, regardless of their level of maturity in terms of employee solidarity involvement. A deliberate flexibility is left to participating companies: each participating company will organize at least one solidarity action involving its employees during the week of June 10 to 14, 2013.
In the PACA region, IMS will offer two types of inter-company actions:
– Art workshops on the theme of solidarity engagement, involving company employees and people with disabilities.
– A museum visit with a group of visually impaired young people.
