The traditional Nice event of Sant-Bartoumiรฉu is offering for the very first time the inaugural edition of the Urban Agriculture Festival in parallel. It will be held on Saturday, September 10th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with its official opening at 10:30 a.m. in the presence of Catherine Moreau.
Christian Estrosi is offering this event as part of a broad-scale food and agricultural policy, implemented since 2020. Many exhibitors will be present, with activities and workshops offered throughout the day. Stalls will offer a variety of local products and animals that will delight young and old alike.
A packed schedule is on the agenda for this festive day:

Food Trucks
Nรฉron pastries, Panisse dโAqui, Back to cookies, le Kawa, and la Pitchounette will offer you typical specialties from Nice.
Farm animals
The farm animals from Mercantour, located in Roche Valdeblore, will be present all day long.
Round tables and conferences
- 11 a.m.: Round table “Solutions to raise awareness and educate on sustainable agriculture and food”
- 12 p.m.: Conference “From the production garden to the great garden of Eden โ The balance between nature and culture”
- 1 p.m.: Round table “Urban agriculture, the solutions to develop gastronomy and the circular economy”
- 2:30 p.m.: Round table “Operational solutions in urban agriculture, examples in Nice and the PACA region”
- 4 p.m.: Round table “Urban agriculture: a solution in the face of climate change”
- 5 p.m.: Closing of the conferences with the presentation by Catherine Moreau, Deputy Mayor of Nice, in charge of Urban Agriculture and neighborhood animation, on the projects developed in Nice.
And throughout the day, activities such as discovering the cougourdon, wool carding, and weaving will be offered at the various stands.
