The opportunity for Laure Carladous, President of FBTP 06, to provide an update on the construction industry situation in the Alpes-Maritimes.

Review of the Year 2018

Creation of 250 jobs, including 120 full-time equivalents in temporary work, for a total of 22,300 construction employees in our companies, to which we must add 2,500 full-time equivalents in temporary work. A decrease in jobseekers in construction by around -11.4%. Temporary labor represents nearly 18% of the workforce in the Alpes-Maritimes.

Positive evolution resulting from several factors:
โ€“ new construction, the engine of our growth.
โ€“ maintenance/renovation remains stable.
โ€“ public works are being hit hard by the context of a structural decrease in public orders.
