The young association from Menton, Best-Hits Radio, ventured into event planning after launching its web radio two years ago. In 2009, it organized the Best-Hits Summer Party. This year, it is participating in the 28th edition of the Fête de la Musique. Twenty-five volunteers have been working for ten months and have created the Menton Dancefloor. “They managed the organization, the refreshments, and the promotion of the event. They created the event from A to Z,” says Maxime Douce, the president of the association. Therefore, the Baden Baden esplanade will come alive with music on June 21, starting at 8 p.m. This is an opportunity to discover Pop/Rock bands like “The Taylors” and “Tasty Moon.”
Founded in 2008, Best-Hits Radio (www.best-hits.fr) is primarily a radio station managed entirely by young people aged 15 to 20, broadcasting on the Internet. The ultimate aim: to secure an FM frequency on the Côte d’Azur.
Program:
– From 9 p.m.: The bands “The Taylors” and “Tasty Moon”
– From 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.: Dancefloor with DJ Melvin and DJ Melvin B
– Young singer Rikin will perform Rap/R’n’B compositions
