The Ministry of Health informed the ATMAN Center of the new decision by the Directorate General of Healthcare Services, granting provisional approval as of September 1, 2015, for a capacity to accommodate 400 students.
This follows the favorable ruling by the Council of State on August 28, which expressed “serious doubts” about the reasons provided by the Ministry and suspended its initial decision of July 8, 2015.
It is again this institution that will, in the weeks and months to come, make a determination on the substance of the case by examining all aspects of the procedure and thus confirm the renewal of approval definitively.
The institution’s management does not hide its satisfaction: “We are delighted with this new victory that restores the deserved approval to our school, demonstrating that the initial file indeed contained all the necessary responses for the National Approval Commission to rule in this direction, rather than leaning towards a rejection, as was the case,” it stated in a released statement.
However, a new approval file for the next 5 years will be resubmitted to the Ministry of Health before October 31.
But for now, within the school, which suffered significant moral and financial damage due to the previous decision, there is rather jubilation: in this time of the Rugby World Cup, it’s a well-scored try!
