Up until September 27, young and old alike, tourists and passersby, residents and shopkeepers are invited to gather during Market Zone to be moved, question, and engage with the symbolic space that is the market.

Market Zone takes place in the Liberation district of Nice for the second consecutive year with an interdisciplinary artistic program designed to foster new encounters around art in everyday public spaces.

Building on the experience gained during the years 2013 and 2014, as part of a specific cross-border cooperation program, Collectif Culture 06 is renewing the Market Zone project under adapted conditions in 2015.

The exhibition extends across the Liberation market in Nice and surrounding areas. The main and emblematic location is the Parvis of the Raoul Mille Library, which will notably host the festive stage for a few days.

The event expands throughout the entire neighborhood, resonating with the artistic proposals, in spaces open to hosting works or proposals: galleries, local municipal spaces, shopkeepers, market gardeners, etc., through exhibitions, concerts, readings, conferences…
