SUPPORT EVENING + DEBATE “WE ARE ALL CHARLIE”
Tuesday, January 13 at 8:00 PM at the Beaulieu Cinema
In such circumstances, in the face of the horrifying news, the Beaulieu Cinema joins all the support movements for the victims of the attack against the Charlie Hebdo journalists.
As responsible citizens and defenders of freedom of expression, the cinema team wishes to offer a way to pay tribute to them and provide a moment of democratic exchange on the theme of press freedom. This special evening will thus be both a support action and a space for debate.
The screening of the documentary film CARICATURISTS, FOOT SOLDIERS OF DEMOCRACY will be followed by an open debate with local journalists and the public around issues of freedom of expression and the role of media in democracy.
