Nice 2018 will create a spectacle at the Hippodrome on Wednesday, February 11 by lending its name to the Quintรฉ + of this PMU meeting, which will be renamed for the occasion as “1st Grand PRIX NICE 2018”, and by participating in a road-cars race featuring an exhibition of the Azurean champions.
Renowned athletes, all associated with the NICE 2018 project, will be there to actively support the event: Lionel LETIZI and Eric ROY from OGC Nice representing football, Jeff TORDO and Christophe MONI for rugby, Christophe PINNA for karate, Johann GREGOIRE for mogul skiing, Valรฉrie NICOLAS for handball, Frank MAY for boxing, and Laurent TILLIE for volleyball.
Alongside these prominent sports figures, political, cultural, and artistic personalities from the region who support the project will gather for a luncheon at the Hippodrome’s lounges.
Five of them will take part in an exhibition road-cars race, thus engaging in photo sessions and public acclaims by riding alongside a professional driver in a friendly yet thrilling race.
The races start at 1:15 PM.

The Cรดte d’Azur Racing Society is joining in the genuinely deserved enthusiasm of the people of Nice for this project aimed at hosting the most prestigious and oldest sports event in the world.
