21 nations have favorably responded to the organizers of the 2006 International Show Jumping of Cannes. This includes an exceptional delegation from the United States of America with 20 professional and amateur riders, including the team headed for the World Equestrian Games.
Twenty-five years of emotions, shared happiness, encounters, faithful and solid friendships, and especially high-level sport. That’s what the Cannes Jumping is all about, and even more, it’s the image of an event famous worldwide, often imitated, never equaled.
Cannes still draws crowds, a magical city, now hosting the first European leg of the Global Champions Tours, the world’s most richly endowed circuit with 3 million euros distributed over 6 competitions. Rodrigo Pessoa, Markus Ehning will be the favorites of this 25th edition which attracts the world’s best riders.
A new look and new partners for this Cannes Jumping, such as the Korean car manufacturer KIA sponsoring the Grand Prix of the city of Cannes, but also the prestigious watchmaker JAEGER-LeCOULTRE which asserts itself even more this year at the event, with a very noticeable presence throughout various operations like the 1st Horse and Golf Trophy JAEGER-LeCOULTRE taking place on June 11, closing at the Royal Golf Club of Mougins with the Jumping riders.
Also on the agenda is a pétanque evening at Place de l’Etang sponsored by EURODOCUMENT and its passionate president Stéphane Delaize, in order to introduce the charm and customs of the Azur region to foreign riders.
Many other surprises are on the program for this 25th anniversary, but it is above all the major meeting for a last qualification in view of the World Equestrian Games which will take place in Aachen in August.
The 2006 International Show Jumping of Cannes, an event not to be missed under any circumstances on June 8, 9, and 10 in Cannes.
